Cansu Arat & Kirill Kretsu

The Piano and Vocal Duo of Cansu Arat and Kirill Kretsu is influenced by the Duo of „Tony Bennett and Bill Evans“. The Duo has been playing together since 2022. They interpret and arrange Jazz Standards in a traditional way which brings out the beautiful side of the sound mixture of the voice and piano. The Duo started working on a tribute concert for „Tony Bennett and Bill Evans in August 2023 and performed it for the first time on the 19th of December 2023 in JazzHall Hamburg. The duo is playing concerts regularly in Hamburg, in Germany but also in the hometown of Cansu, in Turkey. In addition to their Tribute program, they also have some pieces of Joni Mitchell or Norah Jones in their repertoire, which brings out the soulful and emotional side of their duo sound.
