Cansu Arat

The Turkish Singer Cansu Arat was born in Izmir (Turkey) on the 22nd of April 2003. She started singing professionally at the age of 18 when she started her Jazz Bachelor studies in the „Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg“ in 2021. Since then she has been performing in different projects & with her own band actively in Hamburg and in Germany. On top of that she played on known Jazz Festivals in Germany such as ELBJAZZ and Jazz Open Festival and toured multiple times with her Quintet in Turkey and played in the most known Turkish Jazz Clubs in Istanbul. Furthermore she participated in The European Jazz Laboratory 2022 in Parma/Italy, and in the Jazz BIP 2023 in Siena/Italy. Now she is singing in the Vocal Ensemble of the Bundesjazzorchester Germany.
